10 days Morocco Grand Tour from Agadir
Day 1: Agadir – Marrakech
Your journey begins with a coastal-to-inland drive from Agadir to Marrakech. Upon arrival, dive into the energy of this imperial city with a guided visit to Jemaa el-Fnaa square, the medina, Bahia Palace, and Koutoubia Mosque. Overnight in a traditional riad.
Day 2: Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddou – Dades Gorges
Head into the majestic High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass. Visit the fortified village of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site, and continue through Ouarzazate and the Valley of Roses. End the day in the stunning Dades Gorges for dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Dades – Todra Gorges – Merzouga (Sahara Desert)
After breakfast, drive through the Dades Valley and stop at the spectacular Todra Gorges. In the afternoon, continue to Merzouga, where you’ll switch to camels and ride across the golden Erg Chebbi dunes to your desert camp. Enjoy dinner under the stars with traditional music.
Day 4: Merzouga – Midelt – Ifrane – Fes
Wake up early to catch a beautiful sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast, travel through the Ziz Valley and pass by the Atlas town of Midelt. Stop in Ifrane, a clean and green alpine-style town, before arriving in the cultural city of Fes for overnight.
Day 5: Fes – Guided City Tour
Spend a full day discovering the medieval medina of Fes. Visit the Bou Inania Madrasa, Al Quaraouiyine University, the famous tanneries, and artisan quarters. Get lost in the old-world charm of Fes el-Bali with a local guide. Free time in the afternoon.
Day 6: Fes – Chefchaouen
Depart north for the picturesque blue city of Chefchaouen. Set in the Rif Mountains, it’s known for its calming atmosphere and colorful streets. Enjoy free time exploring the medina, local markets, and a walk to the Spanish Mosque viewpoint.
Day 7: Chefchaouen – Tangier
After a relaxing morning in Chefchaouen, continue to Tangier – the gateway between Africa and Europe. Visit Cape Spartel, the Hercules Caves, and explore the medina or enjoy the beach promenade. Overnight stay in this lively northern city.
Day 8: Tangier – Rabat
Drive south along the Atlantic coast to Rabat, Morocco’s capital. Discover key landmarks like the Hassan Tower, Mausoleum of Mohammed V, the Oudayas Kasbah, and the royal palace. Spend the night in Rabat’s historical district or by the seaside.
