    Itinerary
3 days tour from Fes to Marrakech via desert

Day 1:Fes – Ifrane – Midelt – Ziz Valley – Merzouga (Camel Ride & Desert Camp)

Depart Fes in the morning, heading south through the cool alpine city of Ifrane, often called the “Switzerland of Morocco.” Pass through cedar forests near Azrou, where you may spot wild Barbary macaques, then stop for lunch in Midelt, nestled in the Middle Atlas Mountains. Continue through the breathtaking Ziz Valley, dotted with palm trees and Berber villages. Arrive in Merzouga by late afternoon, where you’ll begin a camel trek into the Erg Chebbi dunes, reaching your desert camp by sunset. Enjoy a traditional dinner, Berber music, and sleep in a cozy tent under the stars.

Day 2: Merzouga – Todra Gorge – Dades Valley

Wake early to catch the sunrise over the Sahara dunes. After breakfast, return by camel or 4×4 to Merzouga, then drive west toward the towering Todra Gorge, famous for its sheer rock walls and riverbed—perfect for a short walk and photos. After lunch in the area, continue through the Dades Valley, known for its dramatic cliffs and winding roads (including the famous “monkey fingers” rock formations). Spend the night in a traditional guesthouse or kasbah in the valley, with a delicious dinner and panoramic views.

Day 3: Dades Valley – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech

After breakfast, drive along the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs, passing through Skoura and its palm groves before arriving in Ouarzazate. You can visit the Taourirt Kasbah or the Atlas Film Studios if time allows. Then continue to the stunning Ait Ben Haddou, a fortified mudbrick village and UNESCO World Heritage Site. After exploring its alleys and views, cross the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass, reaching Marrakech in the evening. Drop-off at your hotel or riad marks the end of an epic cross-country journey.
