3 days tour from Marrakech to Merzouga desert

Your adventure begins with an early departure from Marrakech, traveling through the spectacular High Atlas Mountains. The first stop will be the UNESCO-listed Ait Benhaddou, a famous fortified village known for its distinctive mudbrick architecture. After exploring this iconic ksar, you’ll continue to Ouarzazate, the “Gateway to the Desert,” known for its film studios. The day concludes with your arrival in Dades Valley, where you’ll enjoy a peaceful evening and a traditional Moroccan dinner in your hotel or riad.

After breakfast, the journey continues through the scenic Rose Valley and the dramatic Todra Gorge, where you can take a short walk amidst its towering cliffs. The route takes you to Rissani, an ancient market town, where you’ll have the chance to experience a traditional souk and explore the desert culture. From here, the road leads to Merzouga, where the Sahara Desert begins. Once you arrive, you’ll embark on a thrilling camel ride into the Erg Chebbi dunes to witness a stunning sunset. Next, you’ll drive through the stunning Draa Valley, a lush oasis known for its palm groves, ancient kasbahs, and picturesque villages. After a scenic drive through the valley, you’ll begin your ascent through the Anti-Atlas Mountains towards Marrakech.
