    Itinerary
4 days tour from Fes to Marrakech

    Day 1: Fes – Ifrane – Midelt – Ziz Valley – Merzouga

Your adventure begins in Fes with a morning departure toward the Middle Atlas Mountains. After a photo stop in Ifrane, known as “Little Switzerland,” and a visit to the cedar forests of Azrou, continue toward Midelt for lunch. From there, head to Ziz Valley, famous for its lush palm groves and dramatic landscape. Arrive in Merzouga by the late afternoon, where you’ll begin your desert adventure with a camel trek into the golden Erg Chebbi dunes. As the sun sets, the colors of the sand dunes shift dramatically, offering an unforgettable view. You will spend the night in a traditional Berber desert camp, with a delicious Moroccan dinner, Berber music, and stargazing under the clear desert sky.

Day 2: Merzouga – Free Day in the Desert

Wake up early to experience the magical desert sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast, you’ll have the full day to explore Merzouga and its surroundings. Optional activities include a visit to the Khamlia village to enjoy live Gnawa music, or a tour of the Rissani market, where you can witness traditional life in a bustling desert town. For those interested, there’s also the possibility of sandboarding on the dunes or simply relaxing in your desert camp. After a day full of adventure, enjoy a second night in Merzouga, either in your desert camp or at a nearby guesthouse, to unwind and soak in the tranquility of the desert.

Day 3: Merzouga – Todra Gorge – Dades Valley

After a relaxed breakfast, depart Merzouga and head toward the Todra Gorge, one of Morocco’s most famous natural wonders. Take a walk through the gorge, where towering cliffs rise 300 meters high, and enjoy the dramatic scenery. After lunch, continue toward the Dades Valley, known for its striking “monkey fingers” rock formations and beautiful landscapes. Check into your accommodation for the night, where you can enjoy dinner and the panoramic views of the valley. Relax and reflect on the day’s adventures.

Day 4: Dades Valley – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech

In the morning, enjoy a scenic drive through the Dades Valley, heading toward Ouarzazate, also known as the “Hollywood of Morocco.” Here, you can visit the famous Taourirt Kasbah or Atlas Film Studios, if interested. Then continue to Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Explore this ancient kasbah, which has served as the backdrop for numerous films, including “Gladiator.” Afterward, cross the Tizi n’Tichka Pass through the High Atlas Mountains, and arrive in Marrakech by evening. You will be dropped off at your hotel or riad to conclude your memorable journey.
