Start your day with a guided tour of Fes, one of the most fascinating cities in Morocco. Visit the Fes El Bali (Old Medina), a UNESCO World Heritage site, where you’ll explore its historic landmarks like the Al Quaraouiyine University, the Bou Inania Madrasa, and the Chouara Tannery, one of the oldest tanneries in the world. Wander through the bustling souks, where you can shop for traditional Moroccan handicrafts, such as leather, pottery, and textiles. The tour will also take you to the Royal Palace and the Merenid Tombs, offering panoramic views of the city.

After breakfast, leave Fes and embark on a scenic drive towards Merzouga, the gateway to the Sahara Desert. You’ll travel through the Middle Atlas Mountains, passing through picturesque towns like Ifrane (known as the “Switzerland of Morocco”) and Azrou, where you may spot the famous Barbary apes. Continue through the fertile Ziz Valley, with its palm groves and date farms, before reaching Merzouga in the late afternoon. Here, you’ll be greeted by the iconic sand dunes of Erg Chebbi, where you’ll spend the night.

Start the day early with a camel trek into the Sahara Desert. Ride through the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi, experiencing a magical sunrise over the desert landscape. Visit a nomadic family to learn about their way of life in the harsh desert environment, and try your hand at sandboarding on the dunes. After a traditional Berber lunch in the desert, you’ll return to your camp for a restful afternoon. In the evening, enjoy a delicious Berber dinner and a night of stargazing in the peaceful silence of the desert.

After breakfast, leave Merzouga and head toward Ouarzazate, with a few exciting stops along the way. First, stop in Erfoud, famous for its fossils and dates. After a visit to the gorges, head to Dades Gorges, followed by a stop at Kelaat Mgouna in the Rose Valley, where you can explore rose cultivation and local products. Visit the Skoura Oasis, a lush area surrounded by palm groves and ancient kasbahs. Continue your journey to Ouarzazate, a cinematic city known as the “Hollywood of Morocco.” You’ll then visit Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site famous for its kasbahs, which have been featured in many films like Gladiator and Game of Thrones.

On your final day, after breakfast, leave Ait Ben Haddou and make your way toward Marrakech.
